Wages
- Most positions start at Colorado minimum wage – check the Colorado Department of Labor website for the most current minimum wage. Some positions such as bookkeeper, front desk agent, and maintenance have a higher pay rate.
- Generally, employee will work 30 to 40 hours per week depending on business needs. A 40-hour work week is not guaranteed, particularly during “shoulder” seasons in the spring and fall.
- There is a one week waiting period between the beginning of employment and the first paycheck. Payday is every week on Thursdays.
Room & Board
Employee Housing is available to full-time employees. Company housing consists a Girl’s Dorm located inside the park, and trailers, cabins, and RV sites located outside of the park. Please note that most of the employee housing is located outside of the park, approximately 30-40 minutes from work sites.
A FREE employee shuttle to and from worksites is available.
Rooms
Employee housing is automatically deducted from weekly paychecks at the following rate: ·
- Private rooms in the Girl’s Dorm (assigned on seniority basis) for $25/week ·
- 2 Full-sized cabins (assigned to managers) for $25/week ·
- Trailers/Modulars (assigned to supervisors) $25/week ·
- RV sites which include water, sewer, and 30,40,50 amp electricity for $25/week per site (not per employee). Free RV sites are available at Morefield Campground for Volunteer Camp Host positions.
- Small cabins (two employees per unit) for $10/wk per person.
- NOTE: Shower, laundry and kitchen facilities are located away from small cabins in a campground setting.
- Company housing is available to employees only. ARAMARK Mesa Verde does not provide family housing, and children under the age of 18 are not allowed in the employee housing area.
- Pets are not allowed in company housing; small pets may be kept inside personal RVs.
- A recreation room with widescreen TV, computers, refrigerators, microwaves and ovens is available to employees.
- WIFI is available in the main employee housing area.
- Firearms, knives or weapons of any type are strictly prohibited in the park and in company housing.
- Cell Phone service is limited in employee housing area. Additionally, cell phone service is not available in the park or at work site locations.
Employees will need to provide their own linens, blankets, towels and pillows. Mattresses are twin sized. Closets are not available in the employee housing units – with the exception of the Girls Dorm and the trailers. Footlockers, suit cases or other storage methods are recommended for clothing.

Meals
- Employees are eligible for our meal program which allows employees to eat at a significant discount. Employees are able to purchase $10 worth of food for $3.95 per meal. Generally, employees will be able to eat three meals a day for approximately $12-$15 depending on the size and selection of meal items.
- Employees' meals are auto-deducted through payroll. Only meals actually purchased and signed for are deducted through payroll.
- Employee meal discounts are not available to family members or friends who are not employees.
