Uniforms
- TOPS: ARAMARK Mesa Verde will supply uniform shirts, vests, and aprons at no charge to the employee.
- PANTS: Employees are required to supply their own black or khaki slacks, depending on job assignments. Black pants for Dining Room, and beige/khaki for all other positions. Acceptable brand names for uniform pants or slacks are Dockers or Dickies.
- Uniforms supplied to employees must be returned in satisfactory condition upon termination of employment.
- Shoes for Crews or safety grip shoes with closed toes and closed heels must be worn while working. Walking shoes, hiking boots, and tennis shoes are all examples of safety grip shoes. Black, brown or beige are the preferred color for uniform shoes.
- Ball caps or hair nets are provided to food and beverage workers and must be worn while on duty.
Spring and Fall weather can be cold at night (20-40 degrees) and hot during the day (60-90 degrees) with snow possible in April and October. Plan to bring a “layering” of clothing to adapt to varying weather conditions. Normal temperatures in the summer average around 80-90 degrees during the day. Altitude at the top of the mountain is approximately 8,000 feet. Bring sun glasses, hat, drink plenty of water and stay well hydrated, especially while working. It is not uncommon to experience headaches for the first several days until you adjust to the altitude.
