Each season Mesa Verde Company employs approximately 240 people in the following positions:
Gift Shop Sales Associate
Sell retail items, operate cash register, handle cash, provide excellent customer service, acquire and use product information, stock shelves, inventory merchandise.
Cashiers
Sell retail items, operate cash register, stocking, assist with clean-up. Must be able to handle cash accurately. Customer contact and cashier experience preferred.
Kitchen Staff
Cooks, Prep-Cooks, Pantry, Dishwashers, Kitchen Helpers. May work in a cafeteria as general kitchen staff.
Waitstaff
Provide prompt, professional food and beverage service in a fast paced dining room. Must be 21. Tips are subject to State and Federal withholding. Experience required.
Bus Persons
Clean and rest tables, assist food servers, other related duties.
Front Desk Clerk
Register hotel guests using computer equipment, provide accurate directions and information, recommend company tours, restaurants, gift shops and stores. Solve problems, receive complaints and provide assistance as required. Fast and accurate record keeping, computer operation, cash handling and customer service skills required. Foreign language skills are a plus.
Rooms Division Manager
Manager in charge of smooth and efficient operation of the Front Desk and Housekeeping staff. Reports directly to the Far View Operations Manager to ensure excellent guest satisfaction. Requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to provide professional leadership to staff. Previous Rooms Division experience greatly preferred.
Bookkeeper/Night Auditor
Bookkeeping of retail sales for large volume business. Computer experience is not necessary. Job entails compilation of daily deposits and sales reports. Must have good knowledge of double entry bookkeeping and proficient use of 10-key. Balance daily front desk reports and work as night desk clerk. Accounting, computer operation, cash handling and customer service skills are required.
Tour Driver
Provide a narrative tour to visitors. Shuttle driver for employee shuttles. Present evening multi-media shows. Bus driving experience and current CDL preferred but not required.
Tour Escort
Provide narrative tours of the Park to groups with their own transportation.
Shuttle Driver
Safe and courteous driving of Employee shuttle transporting employees to various work locations. CDL and bus driving experience are preferred but not required.
Maintenance
Provide general maintenance for facilities using hand and power tools. Experience and own tools are required.
Housekeeper
Clean hotel rooms and employee housing. Distribute supplies. Assist in laundry room. Physically strenuous position requiring good health and stamina.
Campground Staff
Clean showers, restroom and laundry facilities. Groundskeeping and minor repairs around campsites.
Security
Ensure the safety of guests and employees at our various locations throughout the mesa. Contact Human Resources to find out about additional requirements.
